I am using 041 heads, with comp magnum roller rockers (1.52) and comp guide plates. 5/16" rods. The rods sit pretty close to the exhaust side of the head guides at the top, but not touching, with the valves closed. Webrecommend a minimum of .060” clearance from coil bind at full valve lift.
