Hisa solver
WebJun 7, 2024 · HiSA is a density-based solver, and as such suitable for the Mach number range of approximately 0.3 -> 5. If the majority of the flow is in that range, it shouldn't matter if you are looking at internal or external flow. That said, as you observe it has not been extensively tested with internal flow. oliveroxtoby Posts: 683 WebApr 11, 2024 · Furthermore, in order to overcome the well-known weakness of the standard OpenFOAM compressible solvers, the newly adapted overset library was integrated with …

WebJan 6, 2024 · The HiSA solver has been successfully validated for compressible, transonic flow conditions . To evaluate the solver prediction capabilities for pressure and skin friction for three-dimensional transonic flows, the flow around the well-studied Onera M6 wing is computed using the same simulation setup as applied in the presented study (Sect. 3.1 ). WebMar 15, 2024 · HISA is a very good compressible flow solver. But when I used it to calculate some hypersonic flow cases, the wall parameters appeared to oscillate, such as rho and p. The oscillation is after the shock wave, and the best case is the AUSM+up scheme, I have attached the case file.
