WebCircle of the moon definitely isn't the easiest game in the world. That was my first ever Castlevania game and I don't remember many bosses to be as difficult as ones in Circle. Once you have their patterns down, they are OK though. The patterns may be random but they still give you time to react when they perform their attacks.
